CF-18 Display Cockpit

Helicopter Airbus H145

STARS currently operates a fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters with a custom medical interior, enabling the aircraft to serve as mobile intensive care units. Each base has one helicopter that acts as a primary, in-service helicopter; available and ready to respond when a patient needs critical care and rapid transport to a major trauma centre.

STARS Mobile Education Unit

This unit and onboard equipment provides specialized critical care skill training to STARS crews and other emergency care providers. The first of its kind in North America, it features a human patient simulator which replicates complex medical and traumatic problems. It offers medical personnel the opportunity to test and practice their reactions and skills, leading to a high degree of familiarity and confidence.

Airbus AS350 B3

The RCMP AS350B3 helicopter provides operational and tactical support to front-line members throughout Alberta and other divisions. It performs multiple tasks including search and rescue, aerial surveillance and photography, and pursuits and interceptions.

Piper Warrior

Excel Flight Training, located on the airfield of Lethbridge Airport, has a number of aircraft, highly trained instructors, and various programs to help you achieve your wings. Come check out the Piper Warrior and see if the cockpit calls your name.

Vans RV12

High School at 5,000 FT: The Dave Rozdeba South Alberta Flight Academy is a high school program that allows students to earn their private pilot's license along with their high school diploma. The student-built Vans RV-12 is the first for the South Alberta Flight Academy program. The build took three years to complete and was done under the supervision and instruction of an aeronautical mechanical engineer and Super T Aviation.
