Drone and personal aircraft usage laws are strictly monitored and enforced at YQL. These laws help us ensure that we keep people and aircraft safe—at all times.

Complaints about drones can be directed to the Police non-emergency line at 403.328.4444.

Authorization to fly a drone is provided by Nav Canada via the NavDrone app.

Crane Assessments

If you will be performing lifting work within 5 km of the Lethbridge Airport, an assessment will need to be completed to ensure there are no conflicts with the Airport’s Obstacle Limitation Surfaces. Notice will also be provided to pilots when required via NOTAM. Please complete the form by clicking the button below. Airport staff will strive to respond within 3 business days.
